Special Event Medical Services
Under our "Wellbeing" banner we provide three specialist Event Medical Services
supporting our General Event Medical Providers namely Devon EMS & Southern Event Solutions and AmbFAS.

Clinical Support Team [CST]
​
Our CST is led by Registered Healthcare Practitioners namely Registered Paramedics and Registered Nurses.
​
Practitioners may see and treat patients face to face or provide advise remotely this may be direct to the patient
or through the provider caring for the patient, providing advanced skills as appropriate.
​
The primary role of the CST is to support and supervision to our Responders and EMT [B]
​
Practitioners [Paramedics and Nurses] will generally work as part of a team supporting each other,
in general Paramedics will be field based whilst Nurses will support Treatment areas and the Event Medical Centre.
​
Practitioners will be supported by Level 5 providers operating as Practitioner Assistants, this may include
Level 5 Technicians [ FREC5, IHCD or AAP], Associate Nurse, Assistant Practitioners or Lead HCAs.
​
The team operates from a Medical Team Car.

Event Medical Centre [EMC]

Our EMC which is gazebo based is very versatile and adaptable
and can scaled up or down depending on the size and complexities of the event,
​
It comprises of a number of modules comprising of Triage and See & Treat, Minor Treatments, Recovery, and Resuscitation & High Dependency.
​
In addition to gazebos [modules] there is a Medical Centre Support Ambulance, the range of options are from one or two modules or full field hospital complex.
​
Staffing comprises of a Centre Lead, Associate Lead and EMC Providers which may be
HCAs, Assistant Practitioners or Associate Nurses, Registered Nurse support comes from the CST.
Event Wellbeing [Welfare] Team
​
At certain events we may deploy our Welfare Team who's role is to care for event attendees
who require some form of supervision and support but do not actually require medical care.
​
This service is staffed by members of the Devon EMS Group Auxiliary.
